Egyptian dialect

Egyptian is a North African dialect of Arabic that originated in the Nile Delta, near the capital, Cairo.

The population of more than 100 million Egyptians speaks a variety of dialects, of which Cairene is the most popurummy golds apklar. The Egyptian dialect is understood in most Arabic-speaking countries due to Egyptian influence in the region, as well as in Egyptian media, including Egyptian cinema, which has had a major influence on the MENA region for over a century, along with the Egyptian music industry .
